The logo and brand for The Andrew Gaze MVP Awards Night needed to exemplify a strong sense of elegance whilst conveying high basketball prestige. A silhouette of Andrew Gaze taking a lay-up was utilised and designed into a golden ‘trophy’ icon, further solidifying this NBL legend’s place in Australian basketball history. An all caps serif typeface treated with wide kerning was chosen to compliment the Gaze icon and express a sense of high importance and prestige.
