Nrikesar Brewed Coffee is a company founded in Melbourne in 2008 who specialise in Ethiopian blends. They were in need of a new logo and brand identity to better represent who they are. The approach for the new brand was to be both bold and regal, effectively using symbolism and only two colours to craft a distinctive and memorable mark. Dark beige to represent coffee, and the deep purple to express that sense of regal. The Ethiopian lion silhouette pays homage to the natural heritage and history of Ethiopia whilst also communicating strength, vitality and quality.
